  • Module ratings and feedback you submit

Payment data

  • Transaction details: order ID, amount, currency, payment status
  • Stripe customer and session IDs (we never see or store your card number — Stripe handles all payment data directly)

Technical data

  • IP address (for security and rate limiting)
  • Browser type and device information (via standard HTTP headers)
  • Pages visited and timestamps

3. Why We Process Your Data

  • Account creation and authentication — to give you access to the course after purchase
  • Payment processing — to complete your purchase and manage your license
  • Course delivery — to track your progress, save video positions, and provide a personalized learning experience
  • Invoicing — to generate and deliver invoices as required by Czech and EU tax law
  • Email communication — to send your account invitation, password resets, license expiry reminders, and occasional course updates
  • Security — to protect against unauthorized access, fraud, and abuse
  • Analytics — to understand how the course is used and improve it (aggregate, not individual tracking)

  • Payment and invoice data — retained for 10 years after the transaction as required by Czech accounting law.
  • Security logs — retained for up to 12 months.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate data (you can also update your profile directly in the course)
  • Erasure — request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Restriction — request that we limit how we process your data
  • Withdraw consent — for processing based on consent (e.g., analytics cookies)
